Presidential decree elevates military commanders

SANA’A, Sep.27 (Saba)- The presidential decree No. 71 for 2010 was issued on Monday. The decree upgraded Brig. Gen. Saif Mohsen Saleh al-Baqari, Commander of the Central Military Region and Brig. Gen. Mahmoud Ahmed Saleh al-Sobeihi, Advisor of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the rank of Major General. On April 23, President Ali Abdullah Saleh made new appointments in the leadership of the Yemeni army, which is the third of its kind since the beginning of this year and the second in April, including the appointment of Brig. Gen. al-Baqari as a commander of the Central Military Region. BA Saba
