President welcomes Chinese investments in Yemen

SANA’A, July 21 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received here on Wednesday a delegation from the Chinese Asnok Company and representative of Hanbar corporation for development Ramzi Hanbar. In the meeting, aspects of the cooperation between Yemen and China and chances of the investments were discussed. The delegation expressed willingness of the Chinese companies to invest in different fields in Yemen such as energy,, oil and gas as well as petrochemical industries in the Aden Free Zone and tourism. President Saleh welcomed Chinese investments, saying there are many chances for investment in Yemen. He highlighted Yemeni-Chinese relations, confirming the Chinese investors would receive all kinds of facilities to serve common interests of bothYemeni and Chinese peoples. AH/KM SABA
