President visits War College, Republican Guard School

SANA’A, March 11 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh visited on Wednesday the Military College and Republican Guard School.During the visit, the President got acquainted with the training programs in the college and its different activities. He urged the college’s students to double their efforts in training fields and study classes for obtaining the knowledge, sciences and military skills to enable them to do their duties and future missions.Saleh highlighted the role of Military College in supplying the armed forces with cadres and military qualified leaders, confirming the importance of paying more attention to such scientific edifice and qualitative construction aspects.He pointed out the developments the college has witnessed in its different facilities, indicating to the necessity of recognizing all up-to-date aspects in sciences and military training fields.On the other hand, the President paid a visit to the Republican Guards School, expressing his satisfaction for what he saw from training operations conducted in the school.The President praised the efforts exerted by the teaching staff for training the school’s students, pointing that the school is one of the armed forces resources in this field.”There is no development and investment without security and stability, which can only be achieved through strong armed and security forces.” Saleh confirmed.The president advised the school’s students to increase their efforts in training and study fields for obtaining the knowledge, sciences and military skills to be able to do their duties and future tasks.BA/AF
