President visits National Museum

SANA’A, March 04 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh visited on Thursday the National Museum in Sana’a where he toured in the various wings of the Museum and got acquainted with the archeological pieces. In his speech, president called citizens to protect the archaeological and historical landmarks in their areas as they represent the Yemeni civilization. He affirmed that museums are regarded as schools for generations for what they contain of historical record of the past of the country in ancient times. President expressed admiration for what he saw in the museum as well as the way the archeological pieces are displayed. AM/AM Saba
