President visits Malaysia Wednesday

SANA’A, April 26 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh is making a two-day visit to Malaysia on Wednesday. In his visit, he will be accompanied by six ministers and 66 officials, according to a statement by the Foreign Ministry Tuedsay. President Saleh is scheduled to have a meeting with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Jamalullail. “Both leaders are expected to discuss matters of mutual interest within the framework of bilateral relations, namely in the fields of trade,investment, education, medical tourism and defence,” the statement said. Both leaders are also expected to talk on issues concerning the Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers (ICFM) and the Ummah, such as the restructuring of the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Conference) Secretariat, Iraq and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Yemen will host the 32nd session of the ICFM in June. NN/NSSABA
