President visits hotel complex project in Aden
ADEN, May 12 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid an inspection visit on Wednesday to the hotel apartments complex project in Aden, which its total cost is USD 100 million. The project, which is implemented by the ASAS Real Estate Company, a subsidiary of the Holding Libyan Arab Company, in al-Heswa area in Aden, comes within the hotel and service projects currently implemented in the province in preparation for hosting the 20th Gulf Cup in November, 2010. President Saleh was briefed by the project’s officials on the components of the project and the progress they have made in its phases. They pointed out the achievement in the construction works of the project has exceeded 72 percent, while the accomplishment in the finishing works was estimated at 33 percent. The works are continued to complete the project according to what is planned in the specific time on October 30, 2010. The project that is constructed on an area of 30 thousands square meters consists of a six-storey building, which includes 119 apartments, and most of its rooms are overlooking the shores of the Gulf of Aden, in addition to swimming pools, playgrounds and other services existed in the five star hotels. President Saleh praised the efforts exerted for the accomplishment of this project, stressing the need to double work in the project to complete it as quick as possible in accordance with the technical specifications. He noted to the projects being implemented in the economic and commercial capital of Aden and Abyan province in order to receive the major sports event, the 20th Gulf Cup. BA Saba
