President visits Haradh district
Sana’a Oct 09 (Saba ) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh visited on Monday Haradh district in Hajah governorate . President reviewed ALtewal border way , Haradh’s customs service and the level of work in the customs office. He got acquainted with the facilities made for the expatriates and asked for more facilities for the expatriates. He listened to a report about the exports and imports of goods, cars and tools that pass through the customs service. The customs revenues during the last nine months reached 7.9 billion while exports of all productions during the third season of this year reached 16.5 billion, fish revenues represent 6 billion of total number. The report pointed out the decree of lowering customs charges, especially related for cars and vehicles, which led for increasing of the customs revenues. President urged the officials and workers in Haradh customs pass to work hard and pointed out that the government will develop the many institutions and will link them so there will be more facilities for the expatriates and citizens to activate the commercial process through Haradh path. He was received by the governor of Hajah Muhammad Abdullah Al Harazi, Ahmad AL Shami deputy governor for Tehama’s areas affairs, Muhammad Sabar ALjumae a parliament representative, the officials, sheiks and masters, and the mass who welcomed president and expressed their pleasure for his coming to have a look at their needs.
