President visits French Tormani electricity power plant

PARIS, June 26 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid Tuesday a visit to the French Noujour Turmani Electricity Plant, which works by nuclear energy, where got acquainted with equipment of the technical and technological plant and its work process. The French officials, which Saleh has met in his current visit to France, showed their country readiness to help Yemen in field of using nuclear technology for peaceful usages. Saleh welcomed French companies of this area and related areas to invest in Yemen within the framework of cooperation between Yemen and France. Worth mentioning, Noujour Turmani Electricity Plant consist of two units each of them produces 300 Megawatt. It has been working since 1988 and it produces 17 billion Kilowatt a year. AMAM Saba
