President to meet consultative board of following-up election program

SANA’A, Dec. 27 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh is to meet with members of the consultative board tasked with following-up his election program, the weekly state-run 26september reported on Thursday. In the meeting, it is expected that the President would be briefed on a report about what the board has achieved during the last period and the board’s plans designed for visiting the ministries and institutions for evaluating what was attained according to the stated schedules, head of the board Ahmed Omer Ba Mashmous said. Ba Mashmous added that the board prepared a booklet containing the board’s achievements since its formation. The booklet also contains administrative regulations linked to the evaluation and following-up the president’s election program. On the other hand, it is expected that the parliament and Shoura council are to conduct a joint meeting under a directive from the president. During the meeting the councils will discuss issues in relation to the retirees, lands as well as evaluating what have been achieved of the president’s election program. FR/YA Saba
