President to announce new call for dialogue soon
SANA’A, Nov. 26 (Saba)-President Ali Abdullah Saleh said on Thursday that he would call soon all political parties and civil society organizations for national, serious and responsible dialogue to tackle all issues of the nation. In his speech to the nation on Eid al-Adha and 42nd anniversary of Independence Day, president Saleh said that the dialogue would deal with all issues to insure a unified national position toward these issues including rebellion in Saada province, outlaw acts in some districts of southern eastern provinces and al Qaeda in addition to economic challenges. He said that such dialogue would be under umbrella of constitution, and national principles of unification, republic system and democracy, affirming importance of the dialogue to resolve all disputes. President Saleh highlighted the fighting of the military and security forces in Saada and Harf Sufyan and Malahadh against outlaw elements and vandalism that want return back Dark Age of imamate rule and has foreign agenda to disturb security of Yemen and the region as well. He valued popular relief convoys sent from different regions of the country to support military and security units in the battlefield and to assist the displaced people who left their homes because the rebellion.Saleh also expressed appreciation for friendly and brotherly countries who announced their support for the unity, stability and security of Yemen. He indicated to teachings of Islam that calls for tolerance, brotherhood and unity, praying all the best for the nation and all Islamic and Arab countries. AHSaba
