President Saleh welcomes Denmark foreign minister SANA’A, April 12 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh met here on Tuesday with the Danish foreign minister Per Stig MOLLER. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries, especially in parliamentary, health, mediaand investment fields as well as exchange experiences in applying democracy. They also discussed democracy in the region. MOLLER pointed to the support by the Danish government to Yemen in different sectors. He praised Yemen’s efforts to extend the democratization process. Danish government, whose assitances to Yemen have been stopped since 20 years, decided to resume cooperation with Yemen focusing on three sectors including local governance, press and parliamentary fields. President Saleh welcomed the minister and briefed the role of Yemeni government in fighting terrorism. TD/NSSABA
