President Saleh visits Soudri of Ethiopia
ADDIS ABABA, July 21 (Saba)- As part of his visit to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia which began Sunday, President Ali Abdullah Saleh accompanied by the Ethiopian Prime Minister,Meles Zenawi paid a visit on Monday morning to Soudri region, 125 kilometers away from Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. President Saleh viewed the natural sites of Soudri especially the large agricultural lands and the pastures. After that President Saleh and the Ethiopian Prime Minister visited Dabardeit, a lake that stores seasonal rain waters and serves for irrigating the agricultural lands of the region. In his visit, President Saleh was accompanied by senior Ethiopian officials and Yemeni officials including the Chairman of the Shura Council, Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Ghani, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abu Bakr Al-Qerbi, Minister of State, Abdullah H. Al-Basheeri and Ameen M. Al-Yoosufi, Yemen’s ambassador to Ethiopia.
