President Saleh visits LNG project

SHABWA, Nov. 27 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid a visit on Monday to the Liquid Natural Gas project in Balhaf region in Shabwa governorate. President was briefed by officials of the project on the current work process to implement the project which costs around 3.5 billion dollars. Currently,2600 people are working in the project. This number will be increased up to 10000 workers next year. President Saleh also listened to explanation on the phases of carrying out the project 37 percent of it has been achieved at a total cost of around one billion dollar. Saleh gave orders to offer all security measures to protect “such strategic and economic project”. AH/NS SABA
