President Saleh visits Ethiopian parliament

ADDIS ABABA, July 22, (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh met on Tuesday the speaker of Ethiopian Parliament Dabu Woud Yuhans. During the meeting, Yuhans explained for president Saleh the democratic process in Ethiopia and its evolution stages and expressed desire to enhance parliamentary relations between Yemen and Ethiopia. Then, president Saleh, accompanied by the speaker of the Ethiopian parliament, headed for the parliament premise, where he was acquainted with the duties and responsibilities of the parliament. Parliament officials also praised the progress of democracy experience in Yemen basing on political pluralism and respecting freedom and human rights.
