President Saleh visits Central Security Camp
SANA’A, May 08 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid a visit on Saturday to the Central Security Forces Camp in the capital Sana’a. President Saleh witnessed the military parade held on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Reunification Day, May 22, and the return of some units of the Central Security after performing their functions in a number of provinces and districts. During the visit, Saleh spoke to the soldiers in the camp, congratulating them on this occasion, pointing out the achievements made in light of the nation blessed unity at the different levels. He praised the role played by those units in performing their duties in the areas and sites that they had been sent to maintain the security, stability and the public order. In the presence of the security and stability and public order, wonderful achievements have been made at various levels, without security and stability there can be no development, President Saleh indicated. Moreover, President Saleh greeted the policemen and their alertness and readiness to face all outlaw elements and combat the crime and terrorism. “We have achieved in recent years in the service sector a number of tangible and positive achievements despite all the difficulties and challenges faced by the country’, Saleh said. He urged the soldiers in the Central Security and in the security forces in general for more training and rehabilitation and getting along with the citizens. BA Saba
