President Saleh visits Al-Mahweet

SANA’A, Aug 30(Saba)- In his visit to Al-Mahweet on Tuesday, President Ali Abdullah Saleh listened to citizens needs and ordered authorities to fulfill them. President Saleh also had a look at the implemented and underway projects in the province. He pointed to the role of the municipality in performing a number of basic projects that match citizens’ requirements. Saleh also paid a visit to Al-Taweelah fortress and expressed admiration of the tourist features that the area bestowed with. He urged authorities for more tourism promotion in the governorate. The tourism industry is very importance for the national economy we have to exploit. Our country is one of the richest regions of attractive tourist sites, said president. AM/NS SABA
