President Saleh visits Aden Coastguard Authority

ADEN, Jan. 30 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid a visit to Coast Guards Authority in Aden on Sunday to inspect its role in ensuring security on regional waters. After being welcomed by Abdullah Ghairan, director of Aden security,and the Coast Guards Authority in the city and other government leaders, President Saleh listened to a report on the authority’s efforts in securing Aden port and protecting the sea environment. He also inspected the gunboats of the authority highlighting imperative of providing the authority with up-to-date equipment and training coast guards. Then, President Saleh visited Aden fishing port where he got acquaintance with the activities of the port and its services. AH/AA SABA
