President Saleh tours Taiz districts

TAIZ, August 12 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh visited on Thursday several districts of Taiz province, to which he started an inspectionvisit. During the tour, President Saleh got acquaintance with conditions of those areas and needs of citizens there. He listened to local officials who briefed him on level of the performancein municipal boards’ activities and underway works in development projects. President Saleh gave orders to the relevant bodies to build a road linking the al-Ain and al-Makhoal district and laying out a power line for the Sa’ma city. He confirmed the government’s interest in improving conditions of all districts without any exception and providing citizens with all neededservices. He also asked officials and members of the local councils to exert further efforts to supply citizens with good services and enhance role of thelocal councils in the development process. AH/KM
