President Saleh, TOTAL official discus liquid gas exportation

Mukalla, Feb 6, (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh met with the presidentof TOTAL Oil and Gas Co. Christoph Hari Gari who briefed the President on the what have achieved in the project of liquid gas exportation and talks regarding liquid gas sale for different Korean and European companies. Gari said that it was agreed to sell 2.5 million tons of liquid gas toBelgium of company ( Factalbill ) and two million tons to the South Korean company Cogas and TOTAL itself will buy 2 million tons. The total amount of gas which will be exported will reach six million tons. President Saleh expressed his readiness to support this vital project,stressing on the necessity of accelerating the work process and proceduresof the project within the real partnership and transparency.He also welcome off TOTAL investments in Yemen, pointing out that it getgreat concern and entire care by the Yemeni government.
