President Saleh to visit Italy next November

SANA’A,(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh is going to visit Italy next November as a reply of invitation from Italian President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi and his Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. During the visit president Saleh would hold talks with the Italian officials dealing with the Yemeni-Italian bilateral cooperation relations in trade, economic and investment fields and the means of enhancing them. They also would discuss a number of international and regional developments in the Middle East such as peace process and the current developments in Palestine. Meanwhile Saleh met last Tuesday with the visiting Italian Foreign Minister Margarita Bonever and discussed with her the Yemeni-Italian mutual cooperation ties in various fields such as coast guards, fighting terrorism and refugees.
