President Saleh to visit China on April

SANA’A, Feb. 23(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh will visit China on an invitation from the Chinese leadership.

Informed sources said the president would be accompanied with a number of ministers to hold talks with Chinese counterparts aiming to develop bilateral relations and strengthen cooperation in various areas, especially trade and economic.

Sources said the two leaders would also talk over regional and international issues, particularly developments in Iraq and Palestine and reforms inthe United Nations and fighting terror.

President Saleh would also attend celebrations on passing 50 years since the establishment of Yemeni-Chinese relations.

China is one of the most important partners of Yemen as the trade exchange reached in 2005 over $2 billion.
