President Saleh to partake in Arab summit in Riyadh

ANA’A, March 19 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh will participate along with high-ranking Yemeni delegation in the coming Arab summit to be held in the Saudi capital Riyadh during 28-29 March 2007, said Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi. Al-Qirbi said Arab foreign ministers would hold a pre-summit meeting to discuss preparations and the agenda of the summit. Al-Qirbi said that the summit would seek to decontaminate the Arab-Arab relations and discuss issues and developments in Iraq, Palestine and Somalia. Al-Qirbi pointed out that Yemen along with other Arab countries are clinging totally to the Arab peace initiative approved in the Beirut Summit without any amendment. YA/NS SABA
