President Saleh telephones Seniora, Berri

SANA’A, Feb. 08 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh telephoned on Wednesday Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora and talked with him over current situations in Lebanon in the light of Arab initiative aiming at realizing reconciliation in Lebanon. He indicated the importance of implementing the initiative through electing a president to the Republic of Lebanon for filling the gap of this post. On the other hand, President Saleh telephoned Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and discussed with him developments in Lebanon in the light of all efforts exerted for solving current situations in the country. Saleh confirmed the importance of getting rid of current situations in the country through implementing Arab initiative concerning Lebanon and starting with filling the vacant post of the president. He asked him to convey his best wishes and viewpoint to Lebanese oppositions over realizing reconciliation and serving interests of the country, confirming Yemen’s supportive position with Lebanon.
