President Saleh summons for holding extraordinary Arab summit
SANA’A, July 12 ( Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh called on Wednesday evening in a telephone conversation with the Sudanese President Omer Hassan Al Bashir, the current president of the Arab summit, for holding an extraordinary Arab summit to discuss deteriorations in the Arab situations whether in Palestine whereIsrael is rising its aggression against the Palestinian people or in Iraq where fighting and bloodshed is going on or in Lebanon where the critical Israeli escalations on high alert in the South Lebanon as well as the latest developments in Somalia. Saleh indicated that Yemen had already submitted a memo for the Arab League General Secretary calls for holding an extraordinary summit ass oon as possible. He also expressed Yemen’s welcome to hold this extraordinary summit inS ana’a or in Arab League headquarters in Cairo or in any Arab country. NN/TN SABA
