President Saleh returns home

p>HODEIDAH, March 05 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh returned home Wednesday morning after official visits to Turkey and Germany. Speaking to Saba, President Saleh said that he had held separate talks with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and the German Chancellor Angela Merkel on means to boost bilateral relations with each country on all fronts. His talks with each also brought up the latest developments in the Middle East region topped by the situations in Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, Somalia and Afghanistan as well as the Iran’s nuclear program and joint efforts to fight terrorism. President Saleh said his visits were successful and productive and that his talks with senior officials of both countries were constructive. President Saleh added the views of Yemen and Turkey and Germany over the current regional and international developments were close. FR/YA Saba
