President Saleh returns from Paris

SANA’A, April 15 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh returned home Thursday after a three-day state visit to France where he met French President Jacques Chirac and a number of other French officials. President Saleh had discussed with the French officials the Franco-Yemen political, economic, military and cultural vistas of cooperation, and addressed the issues of Palestine, Iraq and the Horn of Africa. They also discussed the political and democratic reforms of the Arab League and the war against terrorism. President Saleh said he had identical views with the French leader in respect to the Middle East peace, Iraqi issues and the war against terrorism. President Saleh said Yemen was committed to boosting the multilevel cooperation with France in the manner that serves the interests of both nations. AA/KM
