President Saleh receives Saudi chief of Staff
SANA’A, May 27 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received here on Tuesday the Saudi Arabia’s chief of Staff, the head of Saudi side in the Yemeni-Saudi Joint Military Committee (YSJMC) Saleh Bin Ali al-Muhaya. The meeting discussed the military cooperation between the two countries and means of enhancing it. Saleh highlighted the brotherly relation level between the two countries in different fields since signing Jeddah agreement that opened new horizons for mutual cooperation between the two countries to serve the Yemeni-Saudi common interests. For his part, the Saudi Arabia’s chief of Staff expressed his admiration of the developments achieved in the Yemeni army. Al-Muhaya convoyed to Saleh the regards of Saudi king Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and his wishes of more progress to the Yemeni people. TD/AF Saba
