President Saleh receives phone from AL general secretary

SANA’A July 16 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received here on Sunday a phone call from the General Secretary of the Arab League (AL)Amr Mosa who informed Saleh on the current arrangements for holding an extraordinary Arab summit to discuss developments in the region. In the phone conversation, Saleh confirmed the importance of holding the summit, pointing to the importance of uniting efforts to end the Israeli attacks on Palestinians and Lebanese as soon as possible. Saleh said the Arab countries must unite their attitudes regardless the causes behind the current bad escalation, insisting that the Israeli aggressions threaten security and stability in the region and interests of the Arab and foreign nations.
