President Saleh receives phone call from Tunisian counterpart

SANA’A,(Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Friday evening a phone call from the Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali. During the conversation, they discussed the ongoing arrangements for holding the upcoming Arab summit, scheduled to held in the Tunisian capital next month and necessary ways to be ensure its success. The two leaders also discussed ways of activating the Arab joint work to face the current challenges that face the Arab states. They exchanged viewpoints towards the developments that concern the Arab Ummah, mainly the situation in Palestine and Iraq. The two leaders underscored the importance of holding the summit as soon as possible and exerting all efforts to make it successful and coming out with results to be in the level of the current challenges imposed upon the Arab Ummah to serve the Arab joint work.
