President Saleh receives phone call from Somali president

SANA’A, May 15 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh has received a phone call from Somali President Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed on the development situations on Somali land and the two brotherly countries relations. President Saleh renewed Yemen situation to stand beside Somalia and support its leadership efforts for imposing security and stability in its lands. Saleh also called all Arab leaders, especially neighboring countries and leaders of friendly countries, to stand beside Somalia for building its constitutions, indicating the security and stability will serve security and stability in the region beside efforts to combat piracy and maritime piracy acts. For his part, Somali President praised the Yemeni-Somalia brotherly relations and Saleh’s efforts to secure peace in Somalia. –/AM Saba
