President Saleh receives phone call from Khalid Mashaal

SANA’A, Sep.11 (Saba)-President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Saturday a phone call from head of the political bureau of Palestinian Hamas movement, Khalid Mashaal. In the phone conversation, Mashaal and President Saleh exchanged congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. Moreover, Mashaal briefed President Saleh during the phone call on the developments on the Palestinian arena. President Saleh reiterated Yemen’s supportive position to the Palestinian people and their right to establish an independent state on their national soil with al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.
