President Saleh receives outgoing Cuban ambassador

SANA’A, Feb. 09 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Saturday outgoing Cuban ambassador to Yemen Bienvenido Garcia on the occasion of ending his tenure. During the meeting, president Saleh praised efforts of the Cuban ambassador during his tenure in the country in developing and enhancing the bilateral cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the areas of health, education, youth and sports. He affirmed the country’s keenness to develop its relation with Cuba in various fields, asking the ambassador to convey his greetings to Cuban President Fidel Castro and wished him good health and happiness and for the Cuban people progress and prosperity.
