President Saleh receives Omani delegation

SANA’A, Jan 10 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh met here on Saturday the Omani elegation to the democracy conference headed by the minister responsible for foreign affairs Yousef Bin Alawi. They discussed the objectives of the conference and what decisions it can take to enhance democracy, human rights and the role of the International Criminal Court across the world. Alawi told Saba that Yemen’s hosting of the conference signifies its high standing in the democratic community of the world. The Intergovernmental Regional Conference on Democracy, Human Rights and the Role of the International Criminal Court, scheduled for Sunday willdiscuss issues related to the rule of democracy, human rights principles and the establishment of a permanent and independent international criminal court.SABA
