President Saleh receives letter from Russian President

SANA’A, Feb. 25 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received here on Thursday a letter from Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev on the bilateral cooperation relations.The letter handed over by the Russian President special envoy Anatoly Safonov also dealt with reinforcing the cooperation between Yemen and Russia in political, economic, cultural, security, military anti-terrorism and piracy areas.President Medvedev affirmed in the letter the Russian support to a stable and unified Yemen.Saleh has praised the high-level ties between Yemen and Russia, affirming the keenness on enhancing the mutual relations in various fields.The President Saleh and Safonov discussed aspect of cooperation between the two countries.
