President Saleh receives letter from Djiboutian counterpart

SANA’A, Jan. 19 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received here on Saturday a letter from his Djiboutian counterpart Ismail Omer Juelleh regarding a joint initiative at bilateral and regional levels for combating AIDS in coordination with the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The letter that was delivered by the Djiboutian president’s emissary to Yemen, Minister of Health Abdallah Abdillahi dealt also with bilateral ties between Yemen and Djibouti. During the meeting, president Saleh affirmed that Yemen is keen on boosting cooperation relations with Djibouti in all various areas. FR/AF Saba
