President Saleh receives letter form Saudi king

SANA’A, August 13 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Sunday a letter from Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul- Aziz dealing with the brotherly relations and mutual cooperation between two countries. The letter was handed over by the Saudi Foreign Minister Saud Al-Faisal during his meeting with president Saleh. The letter dealt also with the latest developments in the area as well as the Israeli assaults against Lebanese and Palestinian peoples. It also focused on UN resolution No. 1701 which stated to stop all military actions between Lebanon and Israel. President Saleh affirmed the importance of pacing arrangement to hold Arab emergency summit in order to come out with positive results to support Lebanese and Palestinian peoples. He asked the Saudi minister to convey his greetings to the king Abdullah bin Abdul- Aziz, wishing more progress and prosperity for the Saudi people. TD/AH SABA
