President Saleh receives European Parliament delegation

ODEIDAH, May 22 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Mondaythe visiting delegation of the European Parliament that that came to participate in the 16th anniversary of unification celebrations.

During the meeting, the head of the European delegation congratulated president Saleh and Yemeni people, praising the democratic and
developmentachievements of Yemen during last 16 years.

The two sides also discussed the mutual cooperation between Yemen and UE and the supports presented by EU to grant the development march in Yemen.

President Saleh praised the EU support for Yemeni development projects,renewing the invitation for the European Parliament to take
part as observer in the coming presidential and local council elections in September.
