President Saleh receives British, German ambassadors

SANA’A, June 11(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Sunday the German ambassador to Sana’a to bid him farewell at the end of his work in our country. They discussed, in the meeting, the mutual relations and common cooperation terms between the two friendly countries Saleh praised the efforts Germany ambassador devoted during his work in Yemen, pointing out that the German-Yemeni relations are improving. The German ambassador also expressed his gratitude for getting care and attention during the period of his work. Saleh also received United Kingdom ambassador to Yemen Maikal Geferd to bid him farewell at the end of his work to Yemen. In the meeting, they reviewed the mutual relations between Yemen and UK. Saleh also praised the efforts the ambassador devoted for serving the British -Yemeni relations . He praised also London’s holding of Donor’s Conference for supporting Yemeni development, confirming Yemen’s concern to strengthen the relations between the two countries in different terms. British ambassador also express the care and attention he got during his period of work. WS/AM Saba
