President Saleh recalls Fatah and Hamas to overcome dispute

SANA’A, (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh has urged Fatah and Hamas to get the opportunity of Ramadan to solve their differences and work together to protect the Palestinian people and their rights.President Saleh’s advice came in a phone call from the Palestinian ousted prime minister Esmail Haniya congratulating him on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan and wishing more prosperity and progress for the Yemeni people and the Arab and Islamic nations. During the call conversation, they talked on the current situations in the Palestinian territories. President Saleh recalled the two Fatah and Hamas movements to bridge the gap and resolve their differences, advising the two movements to provide more waivers to solve the problem and resume the dialogue based on the agreements of Mecca and Cairo. Meanwhile, President Saleh has made a phone call to Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi to exchange congratulations on the occasion of the Muslims’ holy month of Ramadan. Lebanese Premier Fuad Siniora also felicitated President Saleh on Ramadan, asking the Almighty to return this occasion back while all dreams of Muslims throughout the world have been realized.
