President Saleh reassures on Nageeb Mahfoudh health

CAIRO July 19 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh asked Yemen ambassador to Cairo Abdul al-Wali al-Shamiri to get reassure on the health of the Egyptian writer Nageeb Mahfoud who won the Noble prize in literature. Mahfoud is currently in hospital due to indisposition. Al-Shamiri said that he visited Mahfoud and conveyed President Saleh’s greetings, wishing him soon recovery. NA/TN SABA
