President Saleh phones Libyan counterpart

DOHA, March 30 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh called on Monday on a phone call with Libyan counterpart Muammar al-Gaddafi to intensify efforts to realize Arab solidarity.During his phone call with al-Gaddafi, President Saleh also called on strengthening cooperation relations and activating joint Arab action.The two leaders discussed the relations between the two brotherly countries and ways of promoting them in various fields.They also talked about several issues of common interests in both the Arab and Islamic arenas in the light of the suffering of Arab nations.FJ/AF
