President Saleh phones Abbas over Yemeni initiative

SANA’A, (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh made a phone call on Thursday with leader of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas in which President Saleh suggested the Yemeni initiative to make an end for dispute between Hamas and Fatah. The initiative is based on agreements of Cairo in 2005 and Mecca in 2007 to insure resolving all disputes and respecting the Palestinian principles and law, President said. He informed Abbas about acceptance of Hamas with the initiative, wishing acceptance of all to serve national interests of the Palestinian people and enable them to set up their independent state and al-Quds as the capital.
