President Saleh orders implementing service projects in al-Mahra

SANA’A, (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh directed on Sunday, during his meeting with members of the local authority, executive bureau, members of Parliament and Shura Council and dignitaries of al-Mahra governorate, concerned authorities to carry out a number of service projects. During the meeting, he was acquainted with the ongoing work of service and development projects in different districts of the governorate. Al-Mahra officials thanked the President for his concern for the governorate, expressing their admiration for what has been achieved under his wise leadership in the developmental fields. They confirmed in their speeches determination to preserve the homeland unity, renewing their denunciation to all forms of fanaticism and regionalism some try to revive. The president delivered a speech in which he welcomed al-Mahra’s officials, expressing his happiness to meet with them and listen to their concerns and aspirations. He pointed out that the united country has constructed strategic projects in their governorate, built schools and achieved different projects, praising their national and unitary principles. The President confirmed that the country has become one and that there is no discrimination among the Yemeni people. MS/AM Saba
