President Saleh meets Malaysian prime minister

KUALA LAMOUR,(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh met on Thursday with prime minister of Malaysia Abdullah bin Ahmad Badawi. In the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, cultural and educational fields and means of enhancing them. They also discussed the latest regional, international and Islamic issues of common concern as well as the situations in Palestine and Iraq as well as the role of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) to serve Islamic issues. The talks focused on preparations for the coming meeting of the OIC’s foreign ministers set to be held in Sana’a next June. TD/NSSABA
