President Saleh meets Lebanese counterpart on joint affairs

RIYADH, March 28 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh held talks here Wednesday with his Lebanese counterpart Emile Lahoud on the brotherly relations and fields of joint cooperation and means of enhancing them. During the meeting, they exchanged views over issues listed on the agenda of the 19th Arab Summit holding in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. President Lahoud briefed President Saleh on the latest developments in Lebanon, praising Yemen’s stances which support Lebanon’s stability and its national unity. President Saleh praised the Lebanese people’s resistance against the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, affirming Yemen’s stand in finding solutions for disagreements among Lebanese brothers. YA/AM SABA
