President Saleh meets GCC general secretary

MECCA, Dec. 7(Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh met here on Wednesday with the General Secretary of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdul-Rahman al-Atiah.

During the meeting, Saleh discussed with Atyah programs of brotherly cooperation between Yemen and GCC and other topics related to the joining of Yemen to GCC economics.

They discussed also requirements for qualifying Yemen to copy with human and economic developments in the GCC’s countries as well as topics related to Yemen partnership with many foundations of GCC.

The meeting tackled also many issues in the agenda of the summit of the Islamic Conference Organization being held in Mecca.
