President Saleh meets Eritrean FM

HODIEDAH, Jan 4 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received here on Sunday a letter from his Eritrean counterpart Isaias Afworki dealing with the Yemeni-Eritrean relations and the Ethiopian-Eritrean developments. Eritrean Foreign Minister Ali Sayeed Abdullah delivered the message to President Saleh during a meeting here. In remarks during the meeting, President Saleh renewed the invitation to Eritrea to join the ‘Sana’a Cooperation Forum’ that aimed to maintain peace and security in the region. Saleh also asserted the Yemeni position towards solving all the problems in the region through dialogue and peaceful means. JW/NM/KM SABA
