President Saleh meets American ambassador

SANA’A,(Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh met here on Sunday with the American ambassador to Sana’a Thomas Charles Krajeski. The ambassador convoyed thank you of the U.S. administration to the president Saleh over the Yemeni aid for relief efforts on the disaster of Katrina. During the meeting, President Saleh discussed with the American diplomat the current arrangements of the president Saleh’s visit to USA next February. The visit aims at developing the bilateral relations and the mutual cooperation between the two, especially the economic cooperation relations. For his part, Krajeski assured the US’s support for the democracy and development process in Yemen. TD/AH
