President Saleh makes calls over Arafat condition

SANA’A, Nov 9(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh made on Tuesday intensive telephone calls with president Mohammad Hussni Mubarak of Egypt, Palestinian prime minister Ahmad Qurei and the family of the Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat discussing with them the health condition of Arafat who is in very ill at Percy military hospital near Paris. President Mubarak told President Saleh that consultations with the Palestinian leadership resulted in an agreement that in case the president Yasser Arafat dies his funeral will be in Egypt to enable Arab, Muslim and other leaders who love peace to participate in the funeral, but he will be buried in Ramallah in occupied Palestine. President Saleh welcomed the preparations and making the Arafat’s funeral in Egypt according to Arafat’s will, calling Allah to bless Arafat. NS/NS
