President Saleh, John Reid discuss Yemen-UK ties development

LONDON, Nov 16 (Saba) President Ali Abdullah Saleh has met on Thursday in his residence in London the British Home Secretary John Reid. The two men discussed cooperation relations between the two countries in field of security on the fronts of combating organized crime and terror acts, as well. The two sides also discussed the donors conference in London which is successfully raising funds for Yemen’s development process. President Saleh extended his thanks to the British government for its arrangement of the conference. Saleh renewed Yemen’s longstanding commitment to develop the Yemen-UK ties in all fields of common interest, mainly the fight against terrorism. NN/AA SABA
